ITINERARY
DAY 1
Overnight International flight, we have departures from most major Cities.
DAY 2
Arrival in Cairo. Our representative will meet and assist you. Transfer to your Hotel.
DAY 3
Today you will tour the Pyramids of Giza, breathtaking, one of the seven wonders of the ancient world. Just nearby The Sphinx a mysterious creature with a lion's body and a human face. Continue to Memphis and Sakkara. Memphis the Capital of ancient Egypt, experience it's outstandaing exhibit, the remains of the Colossus of Ramses II, missing his lower legs, this statue in its original state would have stood as tall as a five-story building. Sakkara, among its highlights is the Step Pyramid and surrounding enclosure of Zoser the oldest Pyramid in the world dating from 2686 BC. Breakfast, Lunch included. Overnight in Cairo.
Optional: Return to the Giza Plateau for a Sound and Light Show, Pyramids and Sphinx specially iluminated to tell you their ancient history.
DAY 4
A visit to the Egyptian Museum, wich has more than 120,000 items of antiquity, not to be missed the Royal Mummy room and the Tutankhamun Galleries. Later visit the Citadel, mosques, museums enclosed within its walls, along with fine views of the City. Prominent is the Muhammad Ali Mosque the most visible monument in Cairo. Finish the tour at the fascinating Khan Al Khalili Bazaar, Merchants have been trading on this site since at least the 14th century, here you can put to use your bargaining skills. Breakfast, Lunch included. Overnight in Cairo.
DAY 5
Transfer to the airport for your Flight to Aswan. Board your Nile Cruise. After Lunch enjoy a sailing by Felucca (traditional Nile boat) among the Islands of the Nile, Visit Kitchener Island and view the Agha Khan Mausoleum. Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner Included. Overnight in Aswan.
DAY 6
Today Visit the High Dam the largest in the world, completed in 1970 captures the world's longest river the Nile. Continue to the ancient Granite Quarries to see the enormous unfinished Obelisk, the largest ever erected if hadn't cracked before it was fully quarried. Enjoy a trip by motorboat to the Island of Philae, visit the Temple dedicated to the Goddess Isis. We sail downstream to Kom Ombo to visit the Twin Temples of Sobek and Haroeris Breakfast, Lunch Included. Tonight special Dinner Party on board. Overnight on board.
DAY 7
Climb aboard horse drawn carriages and visit the Temple of Horus the Falcon God the most complete of its kind, and the Temple of Edfu. We cruise to Esna and cross the lock and sail to Luxor. Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner included. Overnight in Luxor.
DAY 8
Karnak and Luxor Temples await for you today, Karnak one of the largest Temple complex ever built, residence of the Pharaos in the ancient Egypt, walk thru the lined ram headed sphinxes, admire the two 3,200 colossi of Ramses II fronting the Temple second Pylon. Luxor Approached by an avenue of sphinxes wich originally connected to Karnak, the twin colossi of Ramses II just one of the highlights, visit the great Temple of Queen Hatshepsut, continue to the Valley of the Kings and venture in to some of the tombs. Breakfast, Lunch, and Dinner included. Overnight in Luxor.
DAY 9
Check out from your Nile Cruise and transfer to the airport for your flight to Hurghada. Our representative will meet and assist you with transfer to your Hotel. Rest of the at leisure. Breakfast included. Overnight in Hurghada.
DAY 10
Enjoy a day of relaxation on the sunny sandy beaches. Optional Tour: Visit Giftun Island, about a 40 minute boat ride from shore. This is a protected area, with a maximum of a 100 people allowed on the island each day. A beautiful Island worth visiting. Breakfast and Dinner Included. Overnight in Hurghada.
DAY 11
Day at leisure in Hurghada. Suggested visits to the Red Sea Aquarium, or the upscale resort area of Al Gouna and exclusive set up for the jet set. Breakfast and Dinner Included. Overnight in Hurghada.
DAY 12
Day at leisure in Hurghada. Suggested: Egyptian Oriental Night at Leila Wa Leila, enjoy a sound and light show followed by the Arabian Horse show, live music with oriental dancers, great entertainment for all ages. Breakfast and Dinner Included. Overnight in Hurghada.
DAY 13
Transfer to the airport for our flight back to Cairo. Free day in Cairo for shopping or relaxing.
DAY 14
Tour Ends. Our representative will assist you with your arrangements going back home.
