Today your tour will include visits to:
- The Giza Plateau, with it's Great Pyramids: Cheops, Chephren, and Mykerions. The Pyramids of Giza are on of the seven wonders of the ancient world still with us. The Great Pyramid of Khufu (Cheops by its Greek name) is one of the most colossal ever built. Nearby the mighty Sphinx a mysterious creature with a lion's body and human face, a truly marvelous piece of Egyptian scuplture.
- Memphis and Sakkara. Memphis Capital of the old kingdom, the hightlight is a Colossus of Ramses II, discovered in 1820, lower part of the statue is missing, in its original state would have stood as tall as a five story building.
- Sakkara, founded as a burial city for the Capital of Memphis, here you find the first Pyramid: the Step Pyramid and surrounding enclosure of Zoser. Breakfast, Lunch included. Overnight in Cairo.
- Optional tour: Sound and Light Show at the Pyramids of Giza, beautifully iluminated, while narrating their ancient history.
Visit the Cairo Egyptian Museum of Antiquities. With more than 120,000 items of antiquity, devoted entirely to the ancient history of the Pharaos, certanly makes for one of the most fascinating Museums you will ever visit. Not to be missed the Royal Mummy Room and the Tutankhamun Galleries. Breakfast and Lunch Included. Overnight in Cairo.
This morning will board flight to Aswan. Upon arrival our representative will assist you with transfers and check in to your Nile Cruise ship.
Today you will visit:
- Aswan High Dam, completed in 1971 is the largest dam in the world, a rock filled dam situated on the border of Egypt and Sudan, of so much importance to Egypt that if ever there was a burst in the dam it would wash most of Egypt in to sea.
- Unfinished Obelisk, located on the Ancient Granite Quarries on the same place where it was being hewn from the rock when a crack was discovered, it would have been the largest ever erected.
- Philae Temple, devoted to the goddess Isis built on the Island of Philae, one of the most romantic monumets in Egypt. Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner included. Overnight in Aswan.
- Optional tour to Abu Simbel as soon as you arrive to Aswan before boarding the ship. Abu Simbel is one of the most famous monuments after the Giza Pyramids and the Sphinx.
Continue saliling the Nile on your way to Kom Ombo.
- Kom Ombo, built on high dune overlooking the Nile, consisting of two temples Sobek and Haroeris, a center for worship of the cocodrile, no cocodriles left just a magnificent Temple. - Tonight enjoy a special Egyptian and Pharaonic costume party on board. Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner included. Overnight on board.
Hightlights of your day:
- Esna and Edfu. Edfu's Temple of Horus is the most complete of its kind, built to worship Horus the Falcon God, some distance inland the Temple of Edfu, enjoy a horse drawn carriage to take you between the two. Esna, the main attraction is the Temple of Khnum of wich only the hypostyle Hall is left in good shape, as you sail to Luxor cruise ships have to cross the Esna Lock, watch the crossing from your deck.
- Karnak and Luxor Temples. Karnak is the oldest and largest temple compound on earth, erected on 1928 BC, dedicated to Amun god of Thebes, it was the residence of the Pharaos, and only Priest and Royals were allowed to enter it. Luxor Temple, approached by an Avenue of Sphinxes wich originally went all the way to Karnak 2 miles in the north, in pharaonic times it sat at the hart of the capital of Thebes.

Today's tour will include visits to:
- Valley of the Kings in Upper Egypt, the burial place of many of the New Kingdom Pharao, including those of Tutankhamen and Ramses the great, in here you can venture inside some of the tombs.
- Temple of Hatshepsut the only woman Pharao to rule ancient Egypt, in ancient times this temple was called the sacred of the sacreds.
- Valley of the Queens. The most famous tomb here is that of Nefertari one of the five wives of Ramses II, said to be his favourite wife, and regarded as the most beautiful.
- Colossi of Memnon. The only standing remains of Amenhotep's Temple, although damaged the statues are still impressive. Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner included. Overnight in Luxor.
- Optional tour: Luxor Hot air balloning over the Valleys at sunrise. An experience of a lifetime.
Today Flight to Sharm El Sheikh, our representative will meet you and transfer you to your hotel. Breakfast, Dinner included. Overnight in Sharm El Sheikh.
DAY 10
Day at leisure. Enjoy the crystal waters and beautiful beaches. Sharm El Sheikh is famous for it's deep sea diving, and snorkelling make sure you try either one of them. Breakfast, Lunch, and Dinner included. Overnight in Sharm El Sheikh.
DAY 11
Today's Tour:
Monastery of Saint Catherine. An early drive 3 hours away from Sharm El Sheikh, located at the foot of Mount Moses, one of the oldest still practising Christian Monasteries wich history can be traced back over seventeen centuries, now under the auspices of the Greek Orthodox Church. Breakfast, Lunch, and Dinner included. Overnight in Sharm El Sheikh.
DAY 12
Transfer to the airport for your flight back to Cairo. Our Representative will meet you and transfer you to your Hotel. Today you will visit the Cairo Bazaar Khan Al Khalili the biggest in Egypt established in the 14th Century, bustling alleways with plenty of street food vendors, coffee houses, carpets, antiques, and jewelry. The perfect place to put your bargaining skills to a use. Breakfast,Lunch Included. Overnight in Cairo.

Tour Ends. Transfer to the airport for your flight back home.
