DAY 1 - Beijing
Depart and fly to Beijing. En-route, cross the International Dateline.
DAY 2 - Beijing
Meals: Dinner.
Upon arrival, meet and transfer to hotel.
DAY 3 - Beijing
Meals: Breakfast, Lunch & Dinner.
Your tour starts with a visit to the Tian'anmen Square, the largest urban square in the world with the capacity of 1 million people. Forbidden City located in the center of Beijing, it is the largest existing, best-preserved imperial palace in the world covering a total area of 720,000 square meters. Next, Summer Palace presents a breathtaking arrangement of lake, landscape, pagodas and pavilions, a fine example of Chinese gardening art.
DAY 4 - Beijing
Meals: Breakfast, Lunch & Special Dinner.
Visit Great Wall, the world's greatest man-made structure winding dragon-like across Northern China and praised as a "Wonder of the World". In the afternoon take a Hutong tour with a pedicab ride. Tonight enjoy a Peking Duck Dinner.
DAY 5 - Beijing - Xi'an
Meals: Breakfast, Lunch & Dinner.
Fly to Xi'an. Upon arrival, meet and transfer to hotel.
DAY 6 - Xi'an
Meals: Breakfast, Lunch & Special Dinner.
Today visit the Terra-cotta Museum, one of the most exciting archaeological finds in recent years. Next visit the Big Wild Goose Pagoda, a brick-tower architecture boasted a five-storey structure about 60 meters high. This evening, enjoy a Dumpling Dinner and followed by a Tang Dynasty Show.
DAY 7 - Xi'an - Chongqing - Yangtze Cruise
Meals: Breakfast, Lunch & Dinner.
Visit Provincial Museum and the ancient City Wall before fly to Chongqing and board on the cruise.
DAY 8 - Yangtze Cruise
Meals: Breakfast, Lunch & Dinner.
Excursion to Fengdu, the Ghost City, it attracts tourists with temple and shrines dedicated to the gods of the underworld, instruments of torture and wild demon images are displayed. Depending on the river conditions, an alternate excursion may be substituted by Wanzhou.
DAY 9 - Yangtze Cruise
Meals: Breakfast, Lunch & Dinner.
Sail through Qutang Gorge and Wu Gorge. Excursion to Daning River. Depending on the river conditions, an alternate excursion may be substituted by Shennong Stream. Later today, sail through the 3 Gorges shiplocks.
DAY 10 - Yichang – Shanghai
Meals: Breakfast, Lunch & Dinner.
Arrive Yang Jia Wang and visit Three Gorges Dam Site this morning. After lunch, disembark at Yichang and fly to Shanghai.
DAY 11 - Shanghai - Suzhou - Hangzhou
Meals: Breakfast, Lunch & Dinner.
Full day excursion to Suzhou. Visit the Lingering Garden, Tiger Hill and Silk Factory. Continue your journey to Hangzhou by coach.
DAY 12 - Hangzhou – Shanghai
Meals: Breakfast, Lunch & Dinner.
This morning take a boat ride on the immensely beautiful West Lake. Next, visit the Lingyin Monastery which was founded as early as 326 AD followed by a visit to a tea plantation to watch the world famous "Dragon Well" tea being prepared. Transfer back to Shanghai by coach.
DAY 13 - Shanghai
Meals: Breakfast, Lunch & Dinner.
Visit the classical Yu Garden which was built 400 years ago, is a famous ancient private garden with architectures of Ming and Qing dynasties. Shanghai Museum displays enormous fine stone sculptures, bronze-ware, porcelain, calligraphic works, Chinese paintings and ancient furniture. See the riverfront promenade - the Bund, a splendid vantage point to view the colourful traffic on the Huangpu River and the Pudong Development Zone. Then stroll to the Nanjing Road.
DAY 14 - Shanghai
Meals: Breakfast.
Transfer to the airport for your homebound flight.
