On this tour you will travel by train to the city of Aurangabad and visit the many historical monuments like: Daulatabad Fort, Ellora Caves, Kailash Temple, Ajanta caves. On day 4th you will tour the city of Udaipur. The next day you will visit Ranthambore National Park. And on day six visit the beautiful Pink City of Jaipur where you will tour: Amber Fort, Hawa Mahal, City Palace, Jantar Mantar. Then the next day take a city tour in Agra & Fatehpur Sikri. DAY 1 - Mumbai
Arrive in Mumbai. On arrival our representative will help you to board your train. He will help you check into your coach and hand over your luggage to your coach butler. You will leave for an overnight journey by train. Enjoy a sumptuous dinner onboard.

DAY 2 - Aurangabad
Wake up in Aurangabad. After breakfast step off the train to take a city tour.
Aurangabad: The city was founded in 1610 named after Emperor Aurangzeb. It has some world heritage sites which are a part of the UNESCO group.
Places you will visit today are:
Daulatabad Fort: Daulatabad is situated around 13 kms away from Aurangabad. This place is known for its majestic fortress which was built in 12th century on top of a hill. The Daulatabad fort emerges dramatically over 600 ft above the Deccan plain. It is one of the world's best preserved forts of medieval times and also one of the few impregnable forts in Maharashtra with excellent architecture. The name Daulatabad means 'The city of fortune'.
Ellora Caves: The Caves are an impressive complex of Buddhist, Hindu and Jain cave temples built between the 6th and 10th centuries AD near the ancient Indian village of Ellora. The Ellora Caves were built at time when Buddhism was declining in India and Hinduism was beginning to reassert itself. It is a World Heritage Site and the most visited ancient monument in Maharashtra State.
Kailash Temple: Kailash Temple is situated at Ellora and is believed that it was constructed by excavating approx. 200,000 tonnes of rock and is possible the world's largest monolithic structure. Representing Shiva's Himalayan home, the temple is exquisitely sculpted and is considered as one of the most astonishing 'buildings' in the history of architecture.
After your tour you will come back to the train for an overnight journey. Dinner will be on board.

DAY 3 - Jalgaon
After breakfast board off train to take a tour, today you will visit:
Ajanta caves: The Ajanta caves are 29 rock cut cave monuments wich date fromt he 2nd century BCE. These caves include paintings and sculptures considered to be a masterpiece of the Buddhist religious art. The caves have one of the most elaborate carvings on its facade with relief sculptures on entablature and ridges. There are scenes carved from the life of Buddha as well as a number of decorative motifs.
Rest of the day at leisure. Dinner and overnight on board. Overnight travel to Udaipur.

DAY 4 - Udaipur
After a splendid breakfast leave the train to take a tour of the city of Udaipur. Today you will visit:
Lake Pichola: It is one of the most beautiful & picturesque lakes of Rajasthan. Located in the heart of the city, it is the oldest and one of the largest lakes in the city of Udaipur. The lake looks more enchanting with its scenic surroundings of lush green hills.
City Palace: an architectural marvel of Rajasthan, located on the banks of Lake Pichola. This magical City Palace is the most-visited tourist attraction of Udaipur and is the largest palace complex in Rajasthan. It is a beautiful architectural blend of Medieval, European and Chinese Architecture. The Palace has various towers, domes and arches, which add to the flavour of a heritage site.
Crystal Gallery: It is one old the most lustrous showcasing the rare and precious crystal from the royal treasure. The gallery is nearly 129 years old with a magnificent collection of Osler's Crystals. These precious crystals remained underground for more than 100 years due to its beauty and richness. They were displayed to public for the first time in 1994. The collection includes tables, sofa sets, dresses, fountains and even beds studded with crystal.
After your tour enjoy a gala dinner at the Durbar Hall which is at the Fateh Prakash Palace.

DAY 5 - Sawai Madhopur
After breakfast leave the train for a fun filled tour. Today you will visit:
Ranthambore National Park: one of the biggest and most renowned national parks in north India. It was once the hunting preserve of the Maharajas of Jaipur. The tigers are a great attraction here and along with them you will also enjoy several varieties of birds, leopards, caracal, hyena, jackal, crocodiles, bears and different types of deer's.
When you are done with the jungle, feel free to share your pictures with a Hi Tea at the Sawai Madhopur Lodge (the former hunting lodge of the royal family of Jaipur).
Dinner and overnight onboard. Overnight journey to Jaipur.

DAY 6 - Jaipur
After breakfast leave for a tour to see the beautiful Pink City Jaipur.
Jaipur: Jaipur is the first planned city of India, located in the desert lands of Rajasthan. is the major business centre for the natives of Rajasthan with all requisites of a metropolitan city. Also known as the Pink City for its major architecture being in red sandstone.
Today you will visit:
Amber Fort: Located in the Aravali hills (range of mountains in western India and eastern Pakistan, running approximately 800 km from northeast to southwest) The Amber Fort is built in 1592 with white marble & red sandstone. With its crystal mirror image on the still water of the lake makes a beautiful illusion. The outer appearance of the fort is rough & craggy but the intricate carvings, mirror work inside on the walls & ceiling simply astonish the visitors by its grand appearance.
Hawa Mahal: a major landmark and a famous tourist attraction, built in 1799. The splendid Rajputana architecture of Hawa Mahal speaks of the glory of the Royal Family. Hawa Mahal means "Palace Of Wind". Was built to enable the ladies of the royal household to watch street processions while remaining in a strict state of Purdha. It is shaped like a pyramid with 5 stories & 953 small windows decorated with Lattice work. These windows are made of pink sandstone and are commonly known as "Jharokhas".
Lunch will be at a hotel in the city.
City Palace: one of the most famous & a major Landmark to the city of Jaipur. Its outstanding art & architecture, series of gardens, courtyards & building with a touch of Rajasthani & Mughal architecture make it a great tourist attraction.
Jantar Mantar: derived from the Sanskrit word "Yantra Mantra" meaning instruments & formulas. The Jantar Mantar is a collection of an architectural astronomical instrument which used to observe the position of the sun & celestial bodies in the ancient times.
Dinner and overnight on board. Overnight journey to Agra.

DAY 7 - Agra & Fatehpur Sikri
After breakfast leave for a city tour:
Fatehpur Sikri: The mysterious ghost city founded by the Mughal Emperor in the late 16th century. It was the first planned city and the capital of the Mughal Empire. Built with Red Sandstone and composed of pillars, ornamental arches, bracket, chajjas & Jharokhas making it versatile to the Indo Muslim style.
Taj Mahal: It is the epitome of Mughal art and one of the most beautiful building in the world. It is one of the seven wonders of the world. Made by emperor Shahjehan in the memory of his beloved wife Mumtaz. Made of marble and stands as the symbol of love.
Agra Fort: located near the gardens of Taj Mahal and Yamuna River. Built in the 16th century by the Mughal Empire, made out of Red Sandstone. It was an imperial city with palaces like Khan Mahal, Shesh Mahal & an audience hall called the Diwane khas & 2 very beautiful Masques.
Dinner and overnight on board. Overnight journey to Delhi.

DAY 8 - Delhi
Enjoy a lovely breakfast on board. After breakfast our representative will help you with your transfer to the airport for your journey back home.
