DAY 1
Today:
Arrive in Lima, the capital and Peru's largest city. Overnight at Lima airport hotel.

DAY 2
Today's Tour:
After an early breakfast fly to Cusco. Transfer to Yucay on the banks of the Urubamba River in the middle of the Sacred Valley stopping at the Pisac Indian Market and the Ollantaytambo ruins. Overnight in Yucay. Breakfast included.

DAY 3
Today's Highlights:
Enjoy a full day exploring the Lost City of the Incas, Machu Picchu. Transfer very early in the morning to Ollanta station to board the Vistadome, a fast and comfortable train with windows especially well suited for photography, to Aguas Calientes, a small town near the citadel of Machu Picchu. From there you will ascend by shuttle bus. Overnight in Cusco. Breakfast included.

DAY 4
Today's Visit:
In the afternoon, a sightseeing tour takes you to Plaza de Armas, the cultural centre of Inca life at the heart of the city, to experience the people and history. Enjoy the beautiful Spanish Colonial architecture as you travel to Sacsayhuaman, an Inca fortress overlooking Cusco where you will gain a true appreciation for Inca construction. Overnight in Cusco. DAY 5
Today's Highlights:
Transfer to the airport for your flight to Lima. In the afternoon, take a sightseeing tour of Lima, the City of the Kings, to appreciate the Plaza de Armas and the splendid Government Palace buildings. See the Town Hall, Palace of the Archbishop, San Francisco Monastery, a high example of Spanish Neoclassic architecture and the upscale districts of San Isidro as well as Miraflores known for its shops, gardens and Pacific beaches. Breakfast included. Overnight in Lima.

DAY 6
Today's Tour:
Transfer to Lima airport and catch your flight to Foz do Iguacu, Brazil, founded in 1549, next to the Iguassu Falls which has a flow capacity of 3 times that of Niagara Falls. Overnight in Foz do Iguacu. Breakfast included.

DAY 7
Visit Today:
You will spend a full day on the Argentinean side of the falls taking an open train for the 15 minute ride to Cataratas Station, and walking along the paths to lookouts to view the breathtaking 275 waterfalls. You can walk down to the Devil's Throat balcony to experience the majesty of the most spectacular cataract. Overnight in Foz do Iguacu. Breakfast included.

DAY 8
Today's Tour:
After a morning visit to the Brazilian side of the falls, transfer to the airport for your flight to Rio De Janeiro, the second largest city in Brazil. Overnight in Rio de Janeiro. Breakfast included.

DAY 9
Today's Highlights:
Take in all the sights of Rio on a tour starting downtown where colonial Rio meets skyscrapers. The sights include Rio Branco Avenue, the Candelaria church, the Opera House and the 17th century church of Santo Antonio. Continue through Flamengo Park. Rio's largest leisure area with a strong sports tradition and home to the Modern Art Museum, Carmen Miranda Museum and a World War II monument, to the base of Sugar Loaf Mountain. Enjoy the panorama as you climb to the top by cable car to get a wonderful view of Rio. Overnight in Rio. Breakfast included.

DAY 10
Visit Today:
Board a cog-train taking you through the Tijuca Forest, a hand planted rainforest, the largest urban rain forest and home to many endangered species that only live on the Atlantic coast. Proceed up Corcovado Mountain, where the famous statue of Christ the Redeemer stands, to a lookout where you can take in the spectacular view, then down past Rio's popular beaches. Overnight in Rio. Breakfast included.

DAY 11
Today:
Take a full day to explore Rio at your leisure. From activities as strenuous as rockclimbing and surfing to quieter pastimes, shopping or laying on the beach, it is all yours in this vibrant city. Overnight in Rio. Breakfast included.

DAY 12
Tour Ends:
Transfer to Rio De Janeiro Airport for your flight home. Breakfast included.
