Brazil and Argentina: A Journey of Wonders

Board your International flight to Buenos Aires. We offer departures from most major Cities in the USA and Canada. You need a valid Canadian or American Passport to enter Argentina & Brazil; it must be valid for six to eight months from your exact return date and have blank pages. A Tourist Visa is required to enter Brazil for American and Canadian passport holders and must be obtained online prior to departure at https://brazil.vfsevisa.com/. Standard processing time is 10 business days. US and Canadian Passport Holders do not need a Visa to enter Argentina for stays of 90 days or less. Other passport holders please consult your local consulate. You will be welcomed at Buenos Aires airport and driven to your hotel.

After breakfast, depart for your Buenos Aires City Tour. Drive along 9 de Julio Avenue, the widest avenue in the world, passing by the Colon Theatre, one of the most renowned opera houses and a source of cultural pride for Buenos Aires. Continue along Avenida de Mayo to Plaza de Mayo, home to the Casa Rosada (Government House), the Metropolitan Cathedral, and the Cabildo (the city’s first town hall). At the opposite end, you'll see the dome of the Congress building. Stop for an interior visit of the Metropolitan Cathedral, Argentina’s main Catholic church. This neoclassical landmark houses the mausoleum of national hero General San Martín and was where Pope Francis, as Cardinal of Buenos Aires, once led mass. Afterwards, stop for a cup of coffee and a snack at a traditional coffee house. Your next stop is La Boca, a vibrant area with the famous street Caminito. Continue to the north area and visit the Recoleta area, one of the city’s most glamorous spots. Here you will see elegant boutiques and excellent restaurants, surrounded by centennial trees. The heart of the neighborhood is the Recoleta cemetery. The cemetery is the centre of this aristocratic neighborhood, and the most relevant personalities of Argentina’s history rest in this place. The mausoleums and pantheons reflect the architectural diversity emerging from the different cultural tendencies Argentina incorporated in its formation as a nation. The cemetery is considered to be one of the most impressive monuments of Argentina. The 30min stop includes a visit of Eva Duarte`s grave, known as Eva Perón (Evita). In the evening you will be taken to the tango house Viejo Almacén, because visiting a Tango Show is a MUST when you are in Buenos Aires! El Viejo Almacén became a unique place thanks to its historic location and an authentic style nourished by popularity built through the years. Every night its doors are open to enjoy an impressive tango show performed by prominent interpreters of the tango scene, a demonstration of Andean music, as well as exquisite cuisine. You will enjoy a show with music, singing and dancing. The dinner includes entrée, main course, dessert & drinks. Return back to your hotel for overnight.

After breakfast, set out on an unforgettable Fiesta Gaucha day trip, immersing yourself in the traditions of Argentina's countryside. Experience authentic Argentine cowboy culture firsthand: watch thrilling horsemanship displays, savor a traditional asado (barbecue), and discover the rich heritage of the gaucho way of life. Santa Susana Ranch sits in the district of Campana, near the charming town of Los Cardales, just a couple of hours’ drive from bustling Buenos Aires. Upon arrival, enjoy a delicious criolla lunch accompanied by a lively folkloric dance show. After lunch, marvel as skilled gauchos demonstrate their remarkable horsemanship in ring races (la sortija) and traditional animal herding. The tour concludes with a guided tour of the historic ranch, its charming chapel, and the on-site museum.

After breakfast at your hotel, check-out and transfer to Buenos Aires airport for your flight to Iguassu. Upon arrival in Iguassu, pick-up at the airport and transfer to the Argentinean National Park towards the Argentinean side of the falls. You will make a short stop at the Visitor’s Centre and proceed from there along river cascades. The Ecological Jungle Train leads you to the most impressive observation point of the falls - The Devil´s Throat. After the visit, transfer to your hotel on the Brazilian side.

After breakfast at your hotel, visit the Brazilian side of the falls. Enjoy magnificent views as you walk along the paths following cascades and then along the catwalk that leads very close to the bottom of the Devil’s Throat. Take an elevator to go up to the road, and there you will board your coach bus for your return transfer to your hotel.

After breakfast at your hotel, transfer to Iguassu airport for your flight to Rio de Janeiro. Arrival in Rio and transfer to the hotel, rest of day at leisure.

After breakfast, meet your guide in the hotel lobby for your Rio de Janeiro City Tour. Drive to the Cosme Velho district, where you will take a cogwheel train through the Tijuca Forest up Corcovado Mountain. Along the way, appreciate the lush rainforest and scenic views. Upon reaching the top, admire the world-renowned Christ the Redeemer statue. After appreciating the breathtaking view, passengers will descend by train. The tour proceeds with a drive through the Copacabana neighbourhood to Urca Station, where you’ll take two cable cars to reach the top of Sugarloaf Mountain. Enjoy the stunning panoramic views of the lush surrounding landscape and the iconic natural monument. Then visit the downtown area, passing the Candelaria Church, Saint Sebastian Cathedral, Lapa Arches, Municipal Theatre, National Library, Fine Arts Museum, and by the Sambadrome, site of Rio’s famous Carnival parade. Afterwards return transfer to your hotel.
