Best of Istanbul

Upon arrival in Istanbul, you will be met by our representative. Canadian and American Passport holders require a Tourist Visa that you can obtain online before departure: www.evisa.gov.tr/en/ Transfer to your Hotel.

After breakfast at your hotel:

• Half day Golden Horn Istanbul city tour, highlights: Pierre Loti Café, Greek Orthodox Patriarchate Church, & Mosque of Soliman.
• The famous Pierre Loti café, is located on the top of a hill, from there you get wonderful view of the Istanbul's natural harbor known as the Golden Horn.

After breakfast, continue with a half-day Bosphorus tour. Cruise the Bosphorus river, enjoy the views, and learn the history of the Palaces, Fortresses, Villas, and gardens that line its shores. Visit Istanbul's Spice Market, also known as Egyptian Bazaar, since many goods came from Egypt a few centuries ago.

After breakfast at your hotel, you will depart on a half-day tour to visit The Hagia Sophia, unquestionably one of the most fantastic buildings of all time. Continue by visiting the old Hippodrome, a site that dates back to the Byzantine era. Finally, visit the incredible Blue Mosque, a magnificent blue tile Ottoman-era building. After the tour you will have the rest of the time at leisure. Overnight in Istanbul.

Breakfast, later in the afternoon enjoy a half day of sightseeing. Visit the Topkapi Palace (excludes the Harem section); the palace was the residence of the Ottoman Sultans for centuries. Then visit the Basilica cistern, a spectacular reservoir. End your tour with a visit to the Grand Bazaar with more than 4,500 stores. At the end of the tour is a free afternoon to explore on your own.
