1. Agreement to Terms
By booking a tour, package, or travel service through Platinum Holidays by Travel Discounters ("Platinum Holidays," "we," "us," or "our"), you ("Client," "you," or "your") agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you are booking on behalf of other travelers in your party, you represent that you have authority to bind those individuals to these Terms.
2. About Us
Platinum Holidays is a TICO-registered travel agency (Registration No. 50012267) based in Toronto, Ontario, Canada. We operate under the Travel Industry Council of Ontario, providing consumer protections for your travel investment.
3. Booking & Payment
To confirm a reservation, a deposit is required at the time of booking. Full payment is due by the date specified on your booking confirmation. We accept major credit cards and other payment methods as indicated at the time of booking.
All prices are quoted in the currency stated on your booking confirmation and are subject to change prior to full payment being received.
4. Non-Refundable Bookings
ALL BOOKINGS MADE WITH PLATINUM HOLIDAYS ARE STRICTLY NON-REFUNDABLE
Once a booking is confirmed and payment (deposit or full payment) has been received, no refunds will be issued for any reason, including but not limited to:
5. Guaranteed Departures
Platinum Holidays guarantees all scheduled departures within our control as the organizing agency. Specifically:
Airline seat assignment: Advance seat selection is subject to airline fees, paid directly to the airline at the time you select your seats.
Please note that airlines reserve the right to change/cancel the pre-selected seats due to schedule changes or Flight equipment change.
Note that there also some airlines that they do not allow advance seat selection.
Checked Baggage Fees: Many airlines have checked baggage fees; once you receive your tickets contact the airline with your airline reservation code for specific charges + terms and conditions.

6. Changes to Bookings
Any changes to a confirmed booking (including name changes, date changes, or itinerary modifications) are subject to availability and may incur amendment fees from Platinum Holidays as well as any applicable fees from airlines or third-party suppliers. Amendment fees are non-refundable.
7. Travel Documentation & Visas
You are solely responsible for ensuring that you and all members of your party hold valid passports, visas, entry permits, and any other required travel documents. Platinum Holidays is not responsible for denied boarding or entry due to improper documentation. No refunds will be issued for bookings affected by documentation issues.
8. Travel Insurance
Travel insurance is not included in our packages unless explicitly stated. Platinum Holidays strongly recommends all clients obtain travel insurance covering trip cancellation, medical emergencies, evacuation, and personal liability before departure.
9. Health & Safety
You are responsible for ensuring you are medically fit to travel and for obtaining any required vaccinations or health precautions for your destination. Platinum Holidays will provide general health advisories but does not provide medical advice.
10. Conduct & Responsibility
Platinum Holidays reserves the right to remove any client from a tour who behaves in a manner that is dangerous, disruptive, or offensive to other travelers or local communities, without refund. You are responsible for any damage caused to accommodation or transport during your trip.
11. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, Platinum Holidays' liability for any claim arising from a booking shall not exceed the total amount paid by the Client for the booking in question. Platinum Holidays is not liable for indirect, consequential, special, or punitive damages of any kind.
Platinum Holidays acts as an agent for airlines, hotels, cruise lines, and other third-party suppliers. We are not responsible for the acts, omissions, or negligence of third-party service providers.
12. TICO Consumer Protection
As a registered TICO member, Platinum Holidays provides consumer protection benefits available under the Travel Industry Act, 2002 (Ontario). For more information, visit www.tico.ca.
13. Governing Law
These Terms of Service are governed by the laws of the Province of Ontario and the federal laws of Canada applicable therein. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Ontario.

Once a booking is confirmed and payment (deposit or full payment) has been received, no refunds will be issued for any reason, including but not limited to:
- Voluntary cancellations or changes of mind.
- Illness, injury, or medical emergencies.
- Work obligations, visa denials, or personal conflicts.
- Flight delays or missed connections caused by airlines or third-party carriers.
- Force majeure events (natural disasters, civil unrest, pandemics, government travel bans, etc.).
- Any circumstances beyond Platinum Holidays' reasonable control.
5. Guaranteed Departures
Platinum Holidays guarantees all scheduled departures within our control as the organizing agency. Specifically:
- Tour departures will proceed as confirmed unless cancelled by Platinum Holidays.
- We will provide confirmed flight tickets at the time of booking or as soon as they become available from the airline.
- In the unlikely event that Platinum Holidays must cancel a departure due to circumstances within our control (e.g., insufficient group size or operational reasons), we will offer an alternative departure date or a full refund of monies paid to Platinum Holidays.
