I was a bit concerned about this company b/c I usually travel with another company. However, this Egypt/Jordan tour far outweighed other companies itineraries in terms of sites visited, beautiful hotels, all breakfast and dinners included and value. I will definitely give them a '10' and I even had my own private driver throughout the entire 2 weeks. I felt quite fortunate to travel with Platinum Holidays and am so glad I booked with Bob!

We booked an 18 day Egypt and South Africa trip with Platinum Holidays. Deodene, our trip advisor did an awesome job. She answered emails quickly and everything went according to plan. All of the accommodations, hotels and lodging were fantastic. The Nile cruise and Egypt guides were exceptional! The activities and tours were amazing. We saw the big five up close and personal! Everyone got a “window“ seat in the open safari vehicle. The package was fairly priced and worth it! I highly recommend this company and tour.

I thank Travel Discounters and in particular Junior for a well planned and executed itinerary. Junior insured that all of my specific requests were fulfilled. Our tours to Egypt was 14 days and included a 4 day Nile Cruise on the Semaris III. The tours were very informative however, we could have used a couple of days more to have been able to spend more time at some of the sites. The only change that I would suggest is that Hurghada stay would have been after the cruise, notwithstanding it was still an exceptional itinerary. Blue Sky Travel the local ground tour operator was exceptional. Abdul, the Blue Sky representative who met us upon arrival was the best. He knew the ropes and helped with our visas and through Immigration in a short time. He was on top of our trip all the way through our itinerary. Abdul insured that our progress was smooth with no hiccups. Each of the Blue Sky Tour Guides, Muni (Sp) and Hamada, was very good and catered to our special requirements.
Had hoped the the Grand Museum would have been open but I suppose that will require another trip.
I highly recommend Travel Discounters/Platinum Holidays as their dedication and customer service is very personal and thorough!

I just returned from the Greece and Egypt tour, and overall, it was an incredible experience. Everything was very well organized - there was always someone available to greet us, assist with transportation, and help with anything we needed along the way. The tour guides in both Greece and Egypt, as well as on the Nile Cruise, were exceptionally knowledgeable and personable; I truly feel that we left with new friends.
The itinerary was action-packed, which made for a full and exciting trip. While some of the flight times and scheduling were a bit awkward, everything ran smoothly, and I have no major complaints. My only suggestion would be to use caution in the shops included on the tours - some of them seemed to offer inflated prices under the guise of “special deals,” which is fairly common in tourist areas.
Overall, it was a wonderful and memorable journey, and I’m very grateful for the experience.

Fantastic! I toured Egypt for 9 days, and although I did get sick for a few days from not adjusting to the dry weather very well, the tour guides were so patient with me and the entire staff was incredibly accommodating and welcoming. The Egypt tour Jan 2025 was superb, first of all big thanks and shout out to Junior for taking care of us right from the start until the very end, with seamless booking, with answering all our questions and keep us updated at all times . He and his team is truly professional and wonderful to work with. The trip was amazing to Egypt. Everything went smoothly and seamlessly.

The Nile River Cruise was excellent with good service and attentive staff that made it memorable for us. Wine, beer, and soft drinks were provided free of charge at lunch and dinner. Great meals and different cuisine offered each night. Abu Simbel was very beautiful. We did the hot air balloon ride as well and it was spectacular to see the sunrise.

Overall the hotels, the river cruise, the local reps Planet Tours all did an excellent job and we felt safe at all times. The local guides were friendly, knowledgeable especially Ibrahim and Tony (Nile Cruise) and Mecho (meet/greet us at the airport) all met our expectations. They were Knowledgeable about history, mythology, art, architecture and culture.
I have had 5-6 friends already asking me to share my itinerary and I am still talking about my Egypt trip. Egypt stole my heart and thanks to this great group of folks who made our 30th Anniversary a trip of a lifetime to remember.

Thanks Junior and I will be booking future trips with you (Kenya/Tanzania and S. Africa and some more) now that I have had a great experience. Highly recommended and highly satisfied with this tour. We booked a trip of a lifetime in Africa. Six countries, almost a month, and arranged for our girls join us for a week in the middle. A pretty ambitious trip that required a fair bit of coordination. I can’t speak highly enough about Junior and the vendors they work with in Africa. Absolutely impressed beyond belief. Everything was seamless, a first class experience. Just got back from a three week trip to Egypt, South Africa and Zimbabwe that we booked through Travel Discounters. Binod, our travel representative was awesome.
